Some of the delegates attending the 2019 GA in Barcelona
EFHPA’s newly elected President, Sato Liu, presided over October’s General Assembly in Barcelona. An excellent turnout included 26 delegates representing 13 organisations from 9 countries.
Before the formalities of the meeting began, participants took time to remember Enid Segall, EFHPA’s only President since its inception in 2003 until her sudden death in late June. Over her 16 years’ of service, many members will have happy memories of Enid, and for years to come will remember little incidents with her that will bring them a smile.
A new Board member was elected – Germany’s President of Hahnemannia – Mario Hopp, who has agreed to take on the role of Communications Officer.
We were delighted to welcome two new member organisations: Spanish group La Asociación de Pacientes y Usuarios de Homeopatía de Aragón (APUHA), and from Slovakia, Priatelia komplementárnej a alternatívnej medicíny (Priatelia KAM).
There was a lively sharing of ideas, challenges and successes between the association representatives and plenty of networking opportunities during the various social events over the weekend.
Closing the Meeting, the President gave special thanks to Miquel Peralta for working throughout with simultaneous translations and for being our host for the weekend.
Lunch was followed by presentations on Agro-homeopathy from Dr Chbani, our guest from Morocco together with French delegate from Lyon, Dominque Servan.
Next years meeting will be held in conjunction with the ECH next November in Bilbao. We hope to see you there!
