We are delighted to announce that APO, the Associazione Pazienti Omeopatici, one of our Italian Homeopathic Patients Associations, is to host a conference on “Intestinal health: the role of homeopathy”
This will take place on the 13th of October in Florence, between the hours of 9.00 and 13.00.
The event is free and is open to all those interested in the subject, practitioners and patients alike.
The event will include a welcome from Dr M Certosino, president of APO as well as talks by
Dr. F. Capuani: The health of the intestine
Dr S. Bernardini: Integrated medicine, a new paradigm in health at the hospital in Pitigliano (Tuscany)
Dr. P Fiengo: The origin and dissemination of Homeopathy
Dr G Gorga: The new homeopathic normatives.
There will also be an open table debate hosted by Dr C Campodonico.
APO works to propagate the principles of Homeopathic Medicine, founded by Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843), in civil society and in political, cultural and educational institutions, for the purpose of legislative recognition by the Italian State;
It aims to promote the knowledge of the gentle and enduring medicine of homeopathy through conferences,, meetings-debates, presentations of popular and educational publications, prize competitions and others;
It focuses on educating citizens on homeopathic preventative care
Encourages the development of specialist university courses in Homeopathic Medicine for doctors-surgeons, dentists and veterinary surgeons; stimulate them to create homeopathic health and first aid services;
APO also takes action at a European level, so that Homeopathic Medicine is exercised exclusively by surgeons, veterinary surgeons and dentistry-doctors enrolled in the professional register who have taken courses in Homeopathic Medicine recognized by the Italian State; to grant scholarships aimed at the deepening of topics concerning Hahnemannian Homeopathic Medicine.
