It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Enid Segall, President of EFHPA.
Enid died suddenly, but peacefully, at home in the early evening of Friday 21st June.
A lifelong champion of homeopathy – a great loss for family, friends and the homeopathic community.
Enid has been known for decades throughout the homeopathic community for her passion, dedication and commitment to homeopathy and as an advocate for patients’ rights to access homeopathic treatment.
She was indefatigable, of small stature but a pocket dynamo who embraced life and her passions with an energy and enthusiasm seldom rivalled.
As President of the European Federation of Homeopathic Patients’ Associations since 2003, Enid served on the ECH council as Subcommittee Coordinator for Patients’ & Users until 2011.
Representing patients, she was very much involved with the ECH’s first Congress, held in Vienna in 2016.
To her colleagues she was known for her intelligence, wicked sense of humour and her tenacity on behalf of homeopathy.
To her friends and family those qualities, together with her creative and artistic abilities, her kindness, consideration and warm heart made her an awesome and special lady.
We will miss our deeply respected, admired and beloved friend and colleague.
Donations, not flowers please
As much as Enid loved flowers being an advocate for homeopathy was her passion so, in her Will, she asked that those people who wanted to send flowers, or indeed, anyone wishing to mark their respect in some fashion, would instead make a donation to the two charities that meant so much to her:
British Homeopathic Association
CAN Mezzanine, 49-51 East Rd, London N1 6AH Charity No: 235900

Friends of the RLHIM
60 Great Ormond Street, London WC1N 3HR Charity No: 269289

Thank you.
